Alec Steele MBE - Grannies wicketkeeping legend - still playing at age of 83!!

Alec in Grannies team in 1996. 

Alec was awarded MBE in the King's Birthday Honours for services to cricket and people with interstitial lung disease. Now aged 83 he played for us in the 1980s and 1990s as well as for Scotland from 1967 and is still playing although currently has a lung infection. Probably the finest keeper ever to play for the Grannies...

Sunshine at last !!
