In the semi final the Grancogs were able to field 8 men having raided the MCC bench and had two step up from the local membership. Honours were even in the matches but fine wins for Dyson and Parker andPhilpott and Pack in the 2nd and 4th matches meant the Grancogs progressed to the final the following day against the XL Club.
