2016-05-22: Sunshine all morning and then right on cue the heavens opened on Canterbury at 2 o'clock. A couple of hours later we managed to sneak in a quick 25over game with the Grannies batting against some tasty bowling in the rain and the dark. The Stragglers set us a total of 179 to win and we managed 143/1 but not for want of trying. A moral draw was the considered opinion, of the Grannies in the gloom.
