Grannies lost the toss and fielded first. After a tight opening spell from Dominic Ely and Tom Hamilton the skipper and Billy Maisey were able to share 4 wickets between them. Mike Fernie and Dminic Ely managed another four wickets but the highlight was Archie Clarke (13) luring their top scorer into a rash stroke to be caught on the boundary. A classic spinners wicket. Liphook finished on 161.
The Grannies batting flattered to decieve and although there was a useful and rapid 35 from Tom Hamiltom at the end it was the skipper with 30* and Mike Fernie that played out a draw finishing on 143 - 9
