Leaving Stan in the lurch with a team of 9, Jim took himself off for a weekend of beer,steak, claret and poker to celebrate his 40th - and all organised by Francesca !
Not to be outdone, Stan conjured a resounding victory - more later.

A well established Grannies fixture this game typically has a relaxed end of season feel to it. Odiham and Greywell put out a team of young and old with a scattering of league players which means you never quite know how well you're doing...the last two years they've sprung a few surprises on us..so I'm keen to get back to winning ways this year. Good facilities and a good welcome.

M3 Jnt 5. Head south to Alton, through Nth Warmborough to Odiham. In Odiham high street just past a pelican crossing turn right into King Street/Long Lane (it has two names). Ground is 500 yds on left.
